Loving Imperfections .............

Insecurities. We all have it in our blood.
  • “They are better than me.”
  • “he has better knowledge than I what I have ”
  • “He is a more stable man.”
  • “He has everything.”
  • "He has got placed, then why not me."
We all struggle for this every day. Thinking about how other people’s lives are going. Comparing ourselves to others. Looking for something we don’t have but other people are enjoying.
One thing we must know about ourselves is that we are imperfect and we must accept that fact. We don’t have the perfect face of a model, paycheck of Bill Gates, the figure of a beauty queen, the height of a basketball player and a lot more imperfections.
But those imperfections make us real and unique. No matter how much we try to be perfect, we can never be.
Embrace it. Love it.
Let’s redefine perfection in our own terms. If we can’t accept our own imperfections, how can we accept other’s flaws and weaknesses as well.
Insecurities can only lead to depression. We should slash it in our lives. We can only be happy if we try to see perfection amidst imperfection.
If we are insecure, it shows in our attitude towards other people. We’ll always have the gut to explain ourselves and tend to create a facade that is not totally us. How can we see ourselves if we keep on comparing ourselves to others and instead of focusing on how to achieve our dreams, we waste our energy poking at other people.
It’s not easy. We are all struggling to fight for it every day. It can also be a part of our imperfections as well but it shouldn’t be an excuse not to fight for it.
Insecurities can eat us up. It decreases our self-confidence, it gives us self-doubt and most of all, it can be a hindrance to our success.
We may not all be perfect but we are unique and we should love it because it becomes our distinct qualities that others may hate or love but is part of who we are. We shouldn’t pay attention to what others would say towards us. We don’t have to please anyone but ourselves. Yes, their opinion matters but what should matter most is how we see ourselves because no one other than ourselves can believe on what we can really do. Let us love our imperfections and live a life with perfection.

Truth.. simplified... :)

True facts....
When you have more fun & fail, People comment you were not serious about your Life.
When you have no fun & fail, People comment you didn't succeed & didn't even enjoy.
When you have no fun & succeed, People comment, what's their when you can't have fun.
When you have fun & succeed, People comment you are arrogant.
However you live, whatever you do, People will comment, Better live the Life the way you want, not for the sake of People.

"Play your game, No matter what the commentators are talking, They are doing their Job, Are You?".....

Positive Mental Attitude

If we have our mental attitude under control you may control almost all other circumstances which affect our life, including our fears and worries of every nature whatsoever.
Our mental attitude is the major factor which attracts people to you in a spirit of friendliness, or repels them, according to whether our attitude is positive or negative; and you are the only person who can determine which it shall be.
A person with a negative mental attitude can sell nothing. He may lake an order from someone who buys something from him, but no selling was done. How important a Mental attitude?
Mental Attitude Can Be Negative or Positive. Only a positive mental attitude pays off in the affairs of our everyday living, so let us see what it is, and how we may get it and apply it in the struggle for the
Mental attitude can be influenced and controlled by a number of factors, such as:
By a BURNING DESIRE for the attainment of a definite purpose based upon one or more of the nine basic motives which activate all human endeavor. Everyone Can Perform "Miracles"
From this chapter, I have learned that our mental attitude is very important as most of our success depends on Positive Mental attitude. Author has talked about the mental attitude and how one can           achieve success by having positive mental attitude.
Mental attitude controls, very largely, the space one occupies in life, the success one achieves, the friends one makes, and the contributions one makes to posterity. It would be no great overstatement of the truth if we said that mental attitude is EVERYTHING.

The biggest wrong lesson that you learnt in your 1ST standard

I dont think there exists anyone on this earth who has done his first standard and doesn't know about the famous story of animalkind wherein a race was set between a fast and furious rabbit and a slow and steady tortoise. Neither me nor you know where the race was set? who set up the race between these 2 animals? for how long the race happened? but still each one of us have been taught either by our teachers or elders the moral of this race story as "SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE" at one point or the other in our lives.

As soon as the race began, the rabbit sped miles ahead of the tortoise who was struggling hard to run carrying his heavy shell on his back. As rabbit saw that the tortoise was way behind him, he thought of taking a power nap before reaching the finishing line. The tortoise kept putting its efforts, surpassed the sleeping rabbit and reached the finishing red ribbon and won the race.

Folks! Only if the rabbit had not slept in between the race there would not have been even 0.000000000001% probability of tortoise winning the race by running faster than the rabbit. Was the rabbit foolish enough to sleep during a race? I am not sure about the answer but if the rabbit was really serious about winning the race it would not even have paused to take a deep breath. Logically a tortoise can never run as fast as a rabbit or even think of beating it in a running race. We all know this.

The biggest mistake made here was putting the strength of one animal against the weakness of the another animal in a challenge. Had the case been a race between 2 rabbits or between 2 turtles the moral would never have been 'slow and steady wins the race'. Inturn it would have been 'fast and furious wins the race'. Likewise friends beware! Most of us make the mistake of comparing our weaknesses with someone else's strengths and feel inferior or the other way ie, we start comparing our strengths with someone else's  weaknesses  and feel superior.

Albert Einstein rightly said "If you expected a fish to climb a tree, it would think of itself as a failure all its life", lets not make the same mistake and learn the wrong lesson which we did in our first standard. Rather lets get back on track to weaken our weaknesses and strengthen our strengths........
